Hello,
Has anyone setup the AES to integrate with a product called SalesForce? If so it there any doc's or can anyone point me in the right direction. I believe I need to set up a tsapi link in the AES(4.0). I already have one set up for the oneX Mobile. Does the SalesForce need a separate link? Is there a link between the AES and a server running SalesForce? Thanks, Joe22 |

Assuming you're talking about SalesForce.com I don't believe there is an integration built into AES for it. There is a packaged solution from Avaya Professional Services for integrating SF and AES and providing call control capability within the SF interface. Do you work direct or through a channel partner? In either case you can have your account rep get info on the "SalesForce.com CTI Connector".

You need to ask Salesforce what "Avaya" protocols they use. For example DMCC and TSAPI, or the like.
Make sure that you have enough of those licenses to both run Mobile and Salesforce simultaniously. No you do not need another Tlink. However, you may need more CLAN boards depending on the number of users you have. For example if you have 1000 stations you are going to use for Mobile and Salesforce then you require at least 4 CLANS. 2 for transport and 2 for H.323. It is adviseable to consider a CLAN maxed out at around 600 stations monitored. CLANS can handle a little more than 700 but that is not a good idea unless you can't help it. |

For example that no problem with TSAPI licenses, CLANs and other hardwares plus the implementation will only be for desktops clients. How should I setup my AES to handle all CTI events? Is there any existing documentations how to do this?

You still need to tell me what Sales force needs. TSAPI can be accessed with JTAPI and TSAPI. Who is programming your Salesforce app? If using JTAPI it is wise to use the same version JTAPI client as you have AES. |
